In the export trade, batteries are one of the common goods, so what certification do these exported batteries need to be exported to foreign countries? Due to the particularity of the battery itself, battery products have their own special requirements in export certification, transportation and packaging.

Let's focus on what certification various battery exports need to go through. Lithium battery products to export first need to meet the relevant requirements of the United Nations Manual of Tests and Standards for the transport of dangerous goods formulated for the transport of dangerous goods, that is, we often say UN38.3, with UN38.3 test report +MSDS+ air, sea and land transport conditions identification, lithium battery products can be transported to the export place. Non-lithium battery products (such as: disposable alkaline zinc-manganese dry batteries, silver oxide batteries and other dry batteries) only need MSDS and transportation conditions.

If the lithium battery products are packaged separately and transported in accordance with the relevant requirements, they must also pass the 1.2m free drop test of the packing box. In addition to the lithium battery class UN38.3 certification, various battery products export common certification also CB certification (international mutual recognition system), exports to different countries and regions need to meet the local different certification requirements, such as export to South Korea need to have KC mandatory certification, export to the EU need to have CE certification, export to the United States UL certification (voluntary certification), Japan needs to do PSE mandatory certification.
