Legal basis

The EU RoHS directive 2002/95/EC EU RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC

We formally implemented in July 1, 2006

The European Parliament and the Council of the European Union in June 8, 2011 released No. 2011/65/EU on the rewrite directive restricting the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment, RoHS2.0.

Scope of application

Core requirements

1, the RoHS2.0 directive, the control of products according to the calculation of "homogeneous" material (Homogenous material), the lead (Pb), mercury (Hg), six chromium (Cr (VI)), polybrominated biphenyls (PBBs), polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDEs), adjacent benzene two formic acid (2 - two ethylhexyl) phthalate ester (DEHP), two formic acid butyl benzyl phthalate (BBP), two Ding Jizhi (DBP), two formic acid isobutyl phthalate two formic acid two (DIBP) of the content should not exceed 1000ppm, cadmium (Cd) content shall not exceed 100ppm.

3, certain exemptions may be granted in accordance with annexes 3 and 4, because of the current economic or technical failure to replace products / materials


4, according to the provisions of article sixteenth of the 2011/65/EU, the CE logo affixed to the product shows that the product will not only comply with the relevant coordination instructions (such as EMC, LVD etc.), but also in line with the requirements of the RoHS2.0 directive issued by the European Union. At the same time, according to the official RoHS2.0 FAQ said: since January 2, 2013, the CE logo will become the products meet unique RoHS2.0.


5, electronic and electrical equipment shall be affixed CE mark at the same time the manufacturer should write the corresponding technical documentation and the EU declaration of conformity right before being put on the market. In electrical and electronic equipment on the market, the manufacturer / importer and its authorized representatives shall retain the EU declaration of conformity and technical documents for at least 10 years.
